Resumo: The objective of this study is to evaluate the care provided for the prevention of HIV-TV during childbirth, according to the recommendations proposed by the Ministry of Health. Specific objectives are: to characterize the sociodemographic and clinical profile of parturients and newborns, to identify the care provided to HIV positive mothers and to the exposed child, and to verify the association between sociodemographic and clinical profile of women related to childbirth care. A descriptive, documentary, retrospective, quantitative study conducted at the Assis Chateaubriand Maternity School (MEAC) in May 2018. All the records of notification and medical records of HIV-positive patients who had their children in the years of 2013 were analyzed. 2017. Sample of the census type, consisting of all the fiches that had all the data duly filled. Data collection was performed by analyzing the notification forms (mother and baby), as well as reviewing important data in the medical record. The data were entered and analyzed in the Statistical Package for Social Sciences for Personal Computer (SPSS-PC). The socio-demographic profile was of women of reproductive age, with companions, with a mean of 11.6 years of study, with good adhesion for ART during prenatal and brown. Most of the pregnant women underwent prenatal care and had ART, but started late. The use of HAART was performed in the majority of deliveries and started within the first 4 hours after birth in the newborn according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health. Immediate care of the newborn in the delivery room was duly performed by the professionals, however some data were ignored. Some care and information about viral load have not been properly recorded in medical records. It was concluded that binomial care was performed in most HIV-positive pregnant women and exposed newborns. However, the approach to early prenatal diagnosis and treatment, as well as the records regarding the serological status of pregnant women, need to be given more attention professionals for more effective care and optimization of care.

Os dados foram digitados e analisados no Statistical Package for Social Sciences for Personal Computer (SPSS-PC). Teles, Liana Mara RochaPinheiro, Débora Paiva2018-11-26T16:49:20Z2018-11-26T16:49:20Z2018info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisapplication/pdfPINHEIRO, D.
