Resumo: | There are currently many football schools in the city of Fortaleza. In these areas, there is an ample supply of labor for professional of physical education and ex-athletes. Therefore, wonders if these professionals would be able to detect, select, train and promote the athletes of this sport. The issue in question has generated many discussions in academic and journalistic levels, as well in everyday practice of clubs. For this reason, is necessary the research about the training of athletes by these football schools in Fortaleza, so that thus can be possible organize, enhance, and develop what would be the proper training of athletes by the schools in reference. This study intends, therefore, to analyze the qualification of young athletes in social, commercial and trainning soccer schools of the mentioned city. This work investigates topics such as training of teachers/trainers; time of work in the area; formation characteristics; methods and strategies used; physical structure of the schools; and objectives of teachers/trainers, students and their parents as well. It is noteworthy also that the analysis performed takes place from qualitative and descriptive criteria. The survey was conducted on three teachers/coaches of different schools. Were used instruments as data collection, participant observation and semi-structured interview. Through the procedures the theoretical framework of the research, were also made the analysis of five categories: I) training of teachers/trainers; II) regarding both students and parents, as with coaching; III) working conditions at the school; IV) goals of the institution, teachers/trainers and students; V) teaching and learning process of soccer practice. From what was found, the football schools have relevance in the education of children. In general, teachers/trainers relationships are categorized according to the type of kindergarten that teaches this. Already the physical structures and materials of kindergarten are relatively similar. The goals include but are distinct. And the teaching methodology is deficient. Considering, therefore, the objectives of this study, it was found that the types of schools share some aspects such as: objectives, goals and qualification of teachers/trainers, and also the concern for the strengthening of citizenship through sport |

Nestes espaços há ampla oferta de trabalho para profissionais de educação física e ex-atletas. Diante disso, questiona-se se estes profissionais estariam capacitados para detectar, selecionar, formar e promover os atletas do esporte. A temática em questão tem gerado diversas discussões, tanto em nível acadêmico e jornalístico, quanto na prática cotidiana dos clubes. Por esta razão, afigura-se necessário o estudo acerca da formação de atletas pelas referidas escolas de futebol de Fortaleza, para que, assim, se possa organizar, aprimorar e desenvolver o que seria a uma formação adequada de atletas pelas escolas. O objetivo deste trabalho, assim, é o de analisar a qualificação de jovens atletas nas escolinhas de futebol sociais, comerciais e formativas de Fortaleza. Investiga-se, no trabalho, temas como: formação dos professores/treinadores; tempo de atuação na área; características da formação; métodos e estratégias utilizadas; estrutura física das escolas; e objetivos dos professores/treinadores, alunos e da instituição. Ressalta-se, ainda, que a análise realizada dá-se a partir de critérios qualitativo e descritivo. A pesquisa foi aplicada em três professores/treinadores, de escolas diferentes. Foram utilizados os instrumentos de coleta de dados, observação participativa e uma entrevista semiestruturada. Através dos procedimentos, bem como do marco teórico da pesquisa, foram também constituídas cinco categorias de analise: I) formação dos professores/treinadores; II) sua relação tanto com alunos e pais, quanto com diretoria; III) condições de trabalho nas escolas; IV) objetivos da instituição, dos professores/treinadores e dos alunos; V) processo de ensino e aprendizagem da prática do futebol. A partir do que foi constatado, as escolinhas de futebol têm relevância na formação das crianças. De modo geral, os relacionamentos dos professores/treinadores são caracterizados de acordo com o tipo de escolinha que este ensina. Já as estruturas físicas e matérias da escolinha são relativamente parecidas. Os objetivos das mesmas são distintos. E a metodologia de ensino é deficitária.
