Occupational stress is a state of tension that can cause changes in the body's internal balance and generate impacts on employee health. In organizations, it can affect employee effectiveness and lead to high costs such as expenses for medical care and leave. The impact of stress has aroused interest in research aimed at identifying its effects on work life. This study aims to evaluate the stress levels of employees of the headquarters of a company located in Fortaleza. Three specific objectives were defined: to know the main factors related to occupational stress in a work environment; understand the causes and consequences of stress in management and administrative positions; identify the level of stress of employees and their main causes within the organization. Through a quantitative research, a questionnaire based on the Inventory of Stress Symptoms for Lipp adults (ISSL) was carried out. In the results, it was possible to identify that 16.7% of the interviewed workers present stress in the resistance phase. Among the main conclusions obtained, we highlight the fact that the level of satisfaction of the employees interviewed is high.
