Resumo: | This article aims to establish a comparative study between the novels Zama (1956), by Argentine writer Antonio Di Benedetto (1922-1986), and O Rastro do Jaguar [The track of jaguar] (2009), by Brazilian writer Murilo Carvalho (1948), from the theoretical-critical thinking of Mikhail Bakhtin (1895-1975), analyzing the polyphony and the representativeness made possible by the different voices present in both literary texts. It is also sought, from a dialogical perspective, to talk about the importance of the rescue made by the works selected as a corpus in relation to the original peoples, suffocated over time by western canonical literature and official historiography. This offers an alternative in order to offer a alternative view on indigenous participation in the construction of culturally distinct national identities. Finally, some questions are raised about the fragmentation of collective identity within the scope of the American continent, as a result of the discursive, political and ideological clash between two distinct worlds: the universe of the colonizer and the colonized. |
