Resumo: Ceará is a pioneer in the use of renewable sources in Brazil. This initiative resulted from the formulation of programs that guarantee the access of the most distant communities, standing out the State Fund for Development of Family Agriculture (FEDAF) of the Secretariat of Agrarian Development of the State of Ceará. Therefore, the actions of access to rural electricity through renewable sources (photovoltaic and wind) implemented in agricultural cooperatives in the State of Ceará were evaluated from the financial point of view, using the technique of valuation of investments and calculation of value indicators net present value, cost-benefit ratio and internal rate of return, based on investments made in 2017 for a 10-year planning horizon. The investments made proved feasible for all simulations of discount rates and kWh cost of energy for the tariffs R $ 0.40 / kWh.

Essa iniciativa foi decorrente da formulação de programas que garantem o acesso das comunidades mais distantes, destacando-se o Fundo Estadual de Desenvolvimento da Agricultura Familiar (FEDAF) da Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Agrário do estado do Ceará. Diante disso, foram avaliadas sob o ponto de vista financeiro as ações de acesso à eletricidade rural por meio de fontes renováveis (fotovoltaica e eólica) implementadas em cooperativas agrícolas no estado do Ceará, utilizando a técnica de avaliação de investimentos e cálculo de indicadores de valor presente líquido, relação benefício-custo e taxa interna de retorno, a partir de investimentos realizados no ano de 2017 para um horizonte de planejamento de 10 anos.
