Resumo: The objective of this research was to understand the meaning of the network of relationships and interactions of Community Health Care Agents (CHCA) and a Local Health Care Unit in Florianópolis/SC. The Grounded theory was used as a methodological reference. Data were collected between February and April 2009, through interviews with CHCA, nurses, doctors and dentists, divided into three sample groups, totaling 20 participants. The data analysis emerged the phenomenon foreseeing the relationships and interactions of the CHCA in improving care for users as a complex network, composed of the inter-relationship of six categories. The network of relationships and interactions of the CHCA is a unit that, serving as the care process facilitator between health care and the community, composes the “health” system. The Nurse is the professional who directly interferes in the CHCA relationship with the team, because he mediates communication, integrates people and articulates knowledge.

Utilizou-se como referencial metodológico a Grounded theory. Os dados foram coletados entre fevereiro e abril de 2009, através de entrevista com ACS, enfermeiros, médicos e dentista, distribuídos em três grupos amostrais, totalizando 20 participantes. Da análise dos dados emergiu o fenômeno Vislumbrando as relações e interações do ACS na melhoria da atenção à saúde dos usuários, como uma rede complexa, constituída a partir da inter-relação de seis categorias. A rede de relações e interações do ACS é uma unidade facilitadora do processo de cuidado à comunidade e compõe o sistema “saúde”. O Enfermeiro é indicado como um profissional que interfere diretamente na relação ACS e equipe, pois media a comunicação e articula pessoas e saberes.En el siguiente artículo se realiza un estudio acerca del significado de la cadena de relaciones e interacciones de Agentes Comunitarios de Salud (ACS) en una unidad local de salud del municipio de Florianópolis/SC. Se utilizó como referencia metodológica la Grounded Theory. Los datos fueron recogidos entre febrero y abril del 2009, a través de entrevistas con ACS, enfermeros, médicos y dentistas distribuidos en tres grupos de muestras, totalizando 20 participantes. Del análisis de los datos surgió el fenómeno Vislumbrando las relaciones e interacciones del ACS en la mejora de la atención a la salud de los usuarios como una cadena compleja, constituida a partir de interrelación de seis categorías. La cadena de relaciones e interacciones del ACS es una unidad facilitadora del proceso de cuidado a la comunidad y compone el sistema “salud”.
