Resumo: This paper aims to think about dialoguesbetween Anthropology and Literature according to some thoughts of the modernist writer Oswald de Andrade. Practitioner of an anthropology without métier, he faces various anthropological problems,including his intrinsic relationship with literal Anthropophagy, as well as topics such as alterity, domination, primitivism. We pursue in this paper therelations of affi nity between Anthropology and Anthropophagy, identifying an analogy between the interests of the other constituent of anthropological operation and anthropophagic maximum:”I only care what is not mine. Law of the man. Law of the anthropophagigous. First we analyze the anthropophagous relation of ”going to the people” with the anthropological relation of “going to do fi eldwork”.Th is will lead us to think the present concepts about the clash between the so-called primitive people and Western civilization. Based on these relations,we will see how literary Anthropophagy and Anthropology interlace and(mis) match.

Based on these relations,we will see how literary Anthropophagy and Anthropology interlace and(mis) match.Buscamos, neste trabalho, pensar em termos de diálogos entre Antropologia e Literatura para estabelecer algumas refl exões acerca da obra do escritor modernista. Oswald de Andrade. Praticante de uma Antropologia sem métier, esbarra com diversos problemas antropológicos, o que inclui sua relação intrínseca com a Antropofagia literal, além de temas como alteridade e primitivismo. Buscaremos as relações de afi nidades entre a Antropofagia e a Antropologia identifi cando uma analogia entre o interesse pelo outro constituínte da operação antropológica e a máxima antropofágica: “Só me interessa o que não é meu. Lei do homem. Lei do Antropófago”. Primeiramente analisaremos a relação da “ida ao povo” antropófaga com a “ida ao campo” própria da disciplina antropológica. Isto nos levará a pensar, então, as concepções presentes do encontro entre os povos ditos primitivos e a civilização ocidental.
