Resumo: This article deals with the analysis of field research education as language, spatial area with the route of the Beira-mar avenue, in Fortaleza-Ceará. Search to associate the discussion of basic concepts that under lie the geographical science with the observation in field research. In this way, this educational activity has the freedom of the construction of geographic knowledge, emphasizing the importance of field activity for the geographer, as a means to observe and understand the dynamics engendered in space to be studied, and teaching resource vital to the formation this professional.
