Caracterização da comunidade fitoplanctônica da lagoa de Maracanaú (Ceará, Brasil)

Resumo: | Inland aquatic ecosystems function as natural reservoirs of water, such as lagoons, being a suitable place for the development of a microbiota of its own, which makes these ecosystems the stage of a balanced dynamic that favors the diversity of life. The objective of this work was to analyze the phytoplankton community of Lagoa de Maracanaú, located in the municipality of Maracanaú in the State of Ceará. Precipitation data was obtained from the Funceme website. In the period from April to October 2017, biweekly collections were carried out at two points to obtain data on water temperature, transparency, salinity and pH of the water, as well as dissolved oxygen, phosphate, ammonia and nitrite. In the phytoplankton collection, a plankton net with a mesh opening of 25 μm and a mouth diameter of 20 cm was used, and 100 liters of water were filtered. The collected material was concentrated to 10.0 mL, fixed in Transeau solution, 4% formaldehyde, in a ratio of 1: 1. Ten subsamples of 0.1 mL were analyzed in Optron TIM - 2008 microscope at the Bioecology Laboratory - Labec. The Carlson trophic state index (EIT) was calculated, based on phosphate levels and water transparency. It was identified 53 species, inserted in 11 Families and 31 Classes. As Navicula sp. and Cyclotella sp. were abundant at both sites, the Navicula cuspidata, Chroococcus sp. and Pseudostaurastrum gracile were not abundant and the others were classified as rare. During the period of the work precipitation was more concentrated in the months of March and April. The water temperature was between 30 and 32 ° C. The transparency was below 30 cm. The amount of dissolved oxygen was within optimal range (between 7 and 8mg / L). Nitrite and ammonia were within the acceptable levels (<1.0 mg / L), but the phosphate was well above the acceptable amount (> 0.01 mg / L). According to the Carlson Index the Lagoon can be considered eutrophic. |

According to the Carlson Index the Lagoon can be considered eutrophic.Os ecossistemas aquáticos continentais funcionam como reservatórios naturais de água, como é o caso das lagoas, sendo um local adequado ao desenvolvimento de uma microbiota própria, que faz desses ecossistemas palco de uma dinâmica equilibrada que favorece a diversidade de vida. Este trabalho teve por objetivo analisar a comunidade fitoplanctônica da Lagoa de Maracanaú, situada no município de Maracanaú no Estado do Ceará. Dados de precipitação foram obtidos junto ao site da Funceme. No período de abril a outubro de 2017 foram realizadas coletas quinzenais em dois pontos, para obtenção de dados da temperatura da água, transparência, salinidade e pH da água, bem como, oxigênio dissolvido, fosfato, amônia e nitrito. Na coleta do fitoplâncton foi utilizada uma rede de plâncton com abertura de malha de 25 μm e diâmetro de boca de 20 cm, sendo filtrados 100 litros de água. O material coletado foi concentrado para 10,0 mL, fixado em solução de Transeau, formol 4%, na proporção de 1:1. Foram analisadas 10 subamostras de 0,1 mL, em microscópio Opton TIM – 2008, no Laboratório de Bioecologia – Labec. Foi calculado o índice do estado trófico de Carlson (IET), com base nos teores de fosfato e na transparência da água. Foram identificadas 53 espécies, inseridas em 11 Famílias e 31 Classes. As Navicula sp. e Cyclotella sp. foram abundantes nos dois locais, as Navicula cuspidata, Chroococcus sp. e Pseudostaurastrum gracile foram pouco abundante e as demais foram classificadas como raras. No período do trabalho a precipitação esteve mais concentrada nos meses de março e abril. A temperatura da água ficou entre 30 e 32° C. A transparência ficou abaixo de 30 cm. A quantidade de oxigênio dissolvido ficou dentro faixa ótima (entre 7 e 8mg/L). Nitrito e amônia ficaram dentro dos níveis aceitáveis (<1,0 mg/L), porém o fosfato ficou muito acima da quantidade aceitável (>0,01 mg/L).
