Análise da margem de comercialização da banana, do mamão e do maracujá no Estado do Ceará

Resumo: Fruit growing is one of the most important agricultural sectors in the world. Brazil has a prominent position. Within the national productive market, the State of Ceará is one of the largest fruit growers in the country. It is known that for production to flow from the producer to the final consumer, it is necessary to have an activity essential for agriculture, agricultural marketing. Among the various topics that can be approached about marketing activity, paying attention to this discussion, the present study chose to study the marketing margin, which is the difference between the price of the product at the different levels of the marketing chain, that is, the payment made by the consumer for the service exercised by the marketing activity. Data were collected in July and August 2020 at the producer and wholesale level, and the crops chosen to be studied were: banana (Musa spp.), Papaya (Carica papaya) and passion fruit (Passiflora edulis), due to the social and economic importance of these fruits in State of Ceará. After analyzing the data, it was found that in the period studied, the absolute average marketing margin at the wholesale level for bananas was R $ 1.17, for papaya the average value was R $ 0.78 and for passion fruit was R $ 2.13, the average relative margin at the wholesale level of the banana was 40.25%, for papaya the average value was 37,43% and the average value of passion fruit was 42%. It was found that geographically the region of Vale do Jaguaribe has the highest banana production in Ceará and the production of papaya and passion fruit are concentrated mostly in the Ibiapaba Region.

O Brasil possui posição de destaque. Dentro do mercado produtivo nacional, o Estado do Ceará configura-se como um dos maiores fruticultores do país. Sabe-se que para que a produção possa escoar do produtor ao consumidor final, é necessário a presença de uma atividade essencial para a agricultura, a comercialização agrícola. Dentre os diversos tópicos que podem ser abordados sobre atividade de comercialização, atentando-se a essa discussão, o presente trabalho optou por estudar sobre a margem de comercialização, esta que é a diferença entre o preço do produto nos diversos níveis da cadeia de comercialização, ou seja o pagamento feito pelo consumidor ao serviço exercido pela atividade de comercialização. Foram coletados dados em julho e agosto de 2020 a nível de produtor e atacado, e as culturas escolhidas para serem estudadas foram: a banana (Musa spp.), o mamão (Carica papaya) e o maracujá (Passiflora edulis), devido à importância social e econômica dessas frutas no Estado do Ceará. Após realizada análises dos dados, constatou-se que no período estudado a margem de comercialização média absoluta a nível de atacado para banana foi de R$ 1,17, para o mamão o valor médio foi de R$ 0,78 e o do maracujá foi de R$ 2,13, a margem relativa média a nível de atacado da banana foi de 40,25%, para o mamão o valor médio foi de 37,43% e o valor médio do maracujá foi de 42%.
