Plantão Psicológico: acolhimento e escuta na Clínica Escola da UFC

This article presents psychological counseling as a clinical modality that has been underway since 2015 in the UFC Clinic School, aimed at providing psychological services to the general population with trainees and extensionists, serving, above all, as a space for information and assistance, helping people to have greater emotional autonomy and greater clarification about their social reality. In these two years of service, the project received almost two thousand users in psychological and actions involving other health professionals. Qualitative study with the participation of 1,710 people attended in the study period. The results show that the psychological task corroborates to the transdisciplinary character of Clínica Escola; offers the possibility of comprehensive professional training to the students of the Psychology course of the UFC; establishes partnerships with other universities in the State of Ceará articulating the network of health services; promotes events and exchanges of experiences about the Psychological Plan and its possibilities of action, and, finally, it has become a reference for action and intervention in the State of Ceará, taking the university knowledge to the extra muros experience and with the local community. It is concluded that both the academic community and the general community are benefited by the consolidation of this modality of attention, which extends the ways of doing the traditional psychological clinic, at the Federal University of Ceará.
