Introduction: Home care includes the reorganization of the work process by the health team and discussions about different concepts and approaches to the family. It is expected that professionals are able to act with creativity and critical thinking through a humanized, competent and solving practice, involving promotion, prevention, recovery and rehabilitation actions. The active participation of user, family and professionals involved in home care is an important feature for the effectiveness of this type of attention. Objective: To evaluate the physiotherapist’s performance of the Center Support to the Family Health in home care of bedridden patients, under the caregiver. Methods: This is a cross - sectional study of quantitative character. The survey was conducted from a questionnaire applied in the period from January to March 2016 to caregivers of bedridden patients in Horizonte city (CE). Results: It was observed that, in general, caregivers show themselves satisfied with the services provided by physical therapy prof essionals, where 55% consider important the presence of the physiotherapist on the patient's recovery and all would recommend this service to friends and family. Conclusion : It is observed by studying that the interpersonal factors contribute to that there is a better relationship between caregiver and physiotherapist, causing better adherence to home treatment, given that the need to strengthen the link with the health care team is essential for communication between the physical therapist and the caregive r, and the full recovery of the patient.
