Suscetibilidade a enchentes a partir da análise de variáveis morfométricas, na Bacia Hidrográfica Rio Bonito em Irati-PR-Brasil

The present work deals with the physical characterization of a hydrographic system, in the South Central region of Paraná State, Brasil and cut the space basin Rio Bonito in the city of Irati. Has the main objective to introduce this morphometric analysis basin and identify the possibility of their physical characteristics have correlation with the occurrence of flooding in the watershed of the Rio Bonito, with full features. The morphometric analysis is a methodology proposed by Christofoletti (1969), featuring quantitatively all elements within a river basin, allowing a proper interpretation of the phenomena and correlation with its showed. The data to perform a morphometric analysis were taken from the Cartographic base of the Exército Brasileiro (1980) from which was extracted the basin boundaries and contours, and other indispensable for application of morphometric analysis as Equational process. It was also an image of the year 2012 granted by the Ministry of environment (MMA). The variables analyzed were relief relationship, circularity, sinuosity, and distance from the mouth to the source, drainage density, and amplitude design. The results obtained showed a high potential for flooding in the basin, mainly for having circular feature and amplitude low elevations.
