Economia criativa e os blocos pré-carnavalescos de Fortaleza como um negócio

Resumo: | The creative economy is one of the most dynamic sectors of the global economy, due to the specificity of that segment, which includes creation, production and distribution of goods or services using as raw material culture and creativity. This work aims to the analysis of entrepreneurial characteristics and creativity of the carnival groups in Fortaleza and their insertion into the Creative Industry. In this study the concepts of creative industry, business model and carnival group were addressed. The research is characterized as qualitative and presents elements to be considered as exploratory and descriptive, according to the goals to reach. Concerning the means used to carry out the research, it may be classified as bibliographic, documental and field study. About 115 carnival groups were identified in this study, which entertain the Pre-Carnival party in Fortaleza. Among them, a sample of five carnival groups were in more detail analyzed concerning economic and cultural aspects, which are: Baqueta, Pery Boneco, Camaleões do Vila, Unidos da Cachorra e Amantes de Iracema. The economic analysis indicates that the most of the Carnival groups still presents financial difficulties and does not have necessary infrastructure to perform its activities. Some groups are able to work continuously during the year with financial support derived either from drum courses that are provided by them or through performances in parties. Financial support from the City Hall of Fortaleza to the Carnival groups is concentrated in few weeks during the Pre-Carnival, which is made available through specific bid invitation. Others financial supports are obtained from sponsors during the events and they vary widely depending on the Carnival group. Concerning the cultural aspects, one may conclude that, although the Carnival groups are trying to keep the tradition of samba, they are always looking for innovation bringing local cultural characteristics to the Carnival parades, namely the musical rhythms and used musical instruments. |

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal a análise das características empreendedoras e criatividade dos blocos précarnavalescos de Fortaleza e sua inserção na Indústria Criativa. Neste estudo foram abordados os conceitos de indústria criativa, modelo de negócio e blocos pré-carnavalescos. A pesquisa é caracterizada como qualitativa e apresenta elementos para ser considerada exploratória e descritiva, quanto aos fins que se propõe chegar. Quanto aos meios utilizados para sua realização, a pesquisa pode ser classificada como bibliográfica, documental e de campo. Foram identificados neste estudo 115 blocos pré-carnavalescos que animam o Pré-Carnaval de Fortaleza. Destes, uma amostra de cinco blocos foi analisada detalhadamente no que diz respeito a aspectos econômicos e culturais, são eles: Baqueta, Pery Boneco, Camaleões do Vila, Unidos da Cachorra e Amantes de Iracema. A análise econômica indica que a maioria dos blocos ainda apresenta dificuldades financeiras e não possui infraestrutura necessária para realização de suas atividades. Alguns blocos conseguem atuar continuamente ao longo do ano com recursos provenientes dos cursos de percussão que eles oferecem ou em apresentações realizadas. O incentivo da Prefeitura Municipal de Fortaleza aos blocos pré-carnavalescos concentra-se no período de realização dos eventos de Pré-Carnaval, através de apoio financeiro disponibilizado por meio de edital público específico. Outros aportes financeiros são obtidos de patrocinadores durante a realização do evento e diferenciam substancialmente dependendo do bloco.
