Resumo: This paper aims to discuss the main notions that guide the Portuguese Language component at the elementary education of the National Curricular Common Base. The main notions are text and literacy, both related to the current debate about fake news. The document also discusses the fake news concept, which is a relevant social phenomenon to be analysed in classroom activities. The discussion is grounded in a bibliographical review that includes readings and analysis that led us to a critical view of these issues. The notions of text, discursive genres and literacy adopted by the National Curricular Common Base are close to the enunciative-discursive perspective, which is the idea of language as social practice. Thereby, we suggest that teaching and classroom activities that aim to develop the skills and competencies listed by the document, including those related to fake news, must consider these concepts.

No cerne da discussão, destacam-se as noções de texto e de letramento, ambas relacionadas ao debate atual acerca das fake news, conceito também discutido pelo documento e apresentado como importante fenômeno social a ser analisado em sala de aula. A reflexão se assenta em uma pesquisa bibliográfica, orientada por leituras e análises que permitem uma visão crítica sobre as questões em estudo. Na esteira das discussões, reconhecemos que as noções de texto, gênero discursivo e letramento adotadas pela Base Nacional Comum Curricular relacionam-se à perspectiva enunciativa-discursiva da linguagem, isto é, à ideia de linguagem como prática social.
