Dialogismo e vontades de verdade na discursividade da Cinderela

Dialogism shows itself as the basis of all discursivity, since every enunciation containing discursive materiality, has a universe of social voices in multiple relationships of convergence and divergence, of harmony and conflict, of acceptance and refusal. Starting from this principle, the text, as an enunciation, is understood with the aid of literary studies, as a voice interacting with other texts and functioning as if they were echoes of voices of its time and its history, revealing the values, the beliefs, the true wishes of a given social upbringing. From this perspective, we bring forth a re-reading of a traditional and popular tale, of European romance language origin, which became known worldwide as Cinderella, especially after the publication of Charles Perrault’s Mother Goose’s Tales. In fact, the transformations found in the narrative are quite varied, but necessary, because they work as a device which signals important social changes, such as women’s achievements in all aspects. Thus, our investigation, based on the theories of Discourse Analysis, attempts to analyse the voices echoing in Cinderella changed her mind, by Nunila López (2009), which show the true wishes regarding the identity of women and men who take part in this tale.
