Interdiscursividade e metadiscursividade no videoclipe Applause, de Lady Gaga

Resumo: In this research, we do, from the conceptual framework of the French perspective of Discourse Analysis, an analysis of the Applause music video of the North American singer Lady Gaga. We identified the interdiscursive and metadiscursive relations present in the work and analyzed how they occur in order to give voice to the discourse of the singer. During this work, it was observed that there is, in the clip, a strong presence of metadiscursivity, revealed from the song title to the elements constructed for this purpose. As for Interdiscursivity, it comes in large numbers and interconnect the music and literary discourse to which the clip belongs to the discourses of great esthetic tendencies and art movements, as well as other artistic languages such as cinema, fashion and theater.

Identificamos as relações interdiscursivas e metadiscursivas presentes na obra e analisamos de que modo elas ocorrem. No decorrer do trabalho, foi possível observar que há, no clipe, uma forte presença da metadiscursividade, revelada desde o título da canção até os elementos construídos voltados a este fim.
