#VaiDarCerto: trabalho docente e educação pública no município Fortaleza em tempos de pandemia

This article aims to analyze the context and determinants of teaching work in remote teaching in the Municipal Public Network of Fortaleza during the period in which schools remained closed (between March 2020 and September 2021) due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Reflections are also presented regarding the national political context and the performance of the institutions responsible for Brazilian educational legislation in conjunction with municipal institutions for directing municipal public education during this period. With the theoretical contribution of Gramsci (2016) and Sousa Júnior (2021) for the analysis, this bibliographic methodological research used as a basis for the reflections carried out the article by Soares, Fonseca and Merichelli (2022) on the work of two teachers in the elementary school in Fortaleza and their perspectives on non-face-to-face activities. It was possible to conclude that the lack of a coordinated action by the Ministry of Education to articulate public institutions and managers responsible for the provision of municipal public education produced the precariousness of teaching work, since school institutions took upon themselves the responsibility of finding alone the means and the resources needed to continue their work during the period of social isolation.
