This article discusses information architecture as a catalyzing element for access, use and retrieval of information in digital environments, which aims to cater to all kinds of public. On the exposed, has an objective to examine the website of the Geledés social organization according to the principles proposed by Rosenfeld, Morville and Arango (2015). As a methodology, the bibliographical research on digital information architecture and its assumptions are adopted, and netnography is used as a way of describing deeply the website of the Geledés organization, chosen empirical field. As results obtained, it is pointed out that the architecture of the site geledes.org.br presents deficiencies, mainly in the system of labeling and search. In conclusion, the application of the recommendations proposed in this research to broaden, facilitate and promote access to gender, ethnic and racial equity information is considered substantial.
