Resumo: Coconut cultivation is of great importance to the Brazilian economy, generating income and providing various raw materials. Currently, Brazil has one of the highest productivity when compared to other producing countries, however coconut production is reduced due to the attack of diseases. Coconut leaf blight is caused by the fungus Lasiodiplodia spp. and is commonly found in orchards across the country. The objective of the present study was to evaluate doses and application intervals of cyproconazole applied via trunk to control coconut leaf blight. The study was carried out in an area of commercial planting, located in the municipality of Paraipaba, Ceará. The treatments consisted of five doses of fungicide applications based on 10% cyproconazole: doses 0 (control), 1, 5, 10 and 15 mL of commercial product per plant, of pure fungicide. The fungicide was applied, via trunk, through a catheter placed after the perforation of the plant stem. Five replications were used for each treatment and the study was divided into two application intervals: semiannual and annual. It was observed that the fungicide application methodology via trunk was efficient in controlling coconut leaf blight. The dose of 15 mL of commercial product with a semiannual application interval showed the lowest incidence of the disease. The total number of leaves for the highest dose applied was higher than the control, giving an increase of above 10 leaves per plant for the two application intervals.

Atualmente, o Brasil tem umas das mais altas produtividades quando comparado a outros países produtores, no entanto a produção de coco sofre redução devido ao ataque de doenças. A queima das folhas do coqueiro é causada pelo fungo Lasiodiplodia spp. e é comumente encontrada em pomares do país. O objetivo do presente trabalho é avaliar doses e intervalos de aplicação de ciproconazol aplicados via estipe para controle da queima das folhas do coqueiro. O estudo foi conduzido em uma área de plantio comercial, localizada no município de Paraipaba, Ceará. Os tratamentos consistiram em cinco doses de aplicações de fungicida a base de ciproconazol à 10%: doses 0 (testemunha), 1, 5, 10 e 15 mL de produto comercial por planta, de fungicida puro. O fungicida foi aplicado, via estipe, por meio de um cateter colocado após a perfuração do caule da planta. Foram utilizadas cinco repetições para cada tratamento e o estudo foi dividido em dois intervalos de aplicação: semestral e anual. Observou-se que a metodologia de aplicação do fungicida via estipe foi eficiente no controle da queima das folhas do coqueiro. A dose de 15 mL de produto comercial com intervalo de aplicação semestral apresentou a menor incidência da doença.
