Resumo: | This work investigates maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithms applied to an isolated photovoltaic system when it is under uniform shaded conditions (USC) and under partial shaded conditions (PSC). It is performed the analysis of the most cited MPPT algorithms in the literature, when the photovoltaic system is on USC, and proposed new MPPT algorithms. The proposed algorithms use computational intelligence concepts, such as: meta-heuristic harmonic search algorithm, fuzzy logic controller, and adaptive fuzzy logic. This allows for a high efficiency of tracking. The MPPT algorithms are still compared with other algorithms indicated in the literature. When on PSC, the literature presents other MPPT algorithms, usually referred to as Global Maximum Power Point Tracking (GMPPT) algorithms. In addition to the bibliographic review of GMPPT algorithms, this work proposes a new algorithm. This new GMPPT algorithm is simple to deploy, fast track, and low computational cost. The results showed that the proposed MPPT and GMPPT algorithms have several advantages, such as high efficiency and high convergence speed. |
