This research will explain about the FORMAMUS Project, which is linked to the research laboratory and practices in music education (LAPPEM), the Music Course - Bachelor's degree from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), ​Campus Sobral. The justification of this work has as central ideas facilitate and direct access to existing publications and activities in the area of musical education, through a work of analysis, cataloguing and dissemination of the vast field of scientific productions and music education activities that are available on web next to the "FORMAMUS project" website. In this perspective, this work aims to encourage professionals who work directly or indirectly in the area of music (musical educators, musicians, arts teachers, pedagogues, among others) to the importance of the knowledge produced and the optimization in access to publications and ideas of activities available in the area of music /music education. Therefore, the central proposal of the research aims to compile and catalog publications related to the area of music education/music, which are available in different internet databases, in order to optimize management in access to such publications and musical activities in a single virtual environment. The starting question of the research is asked: what are the influences on the use of a website as a repository of materials for the performance of professionals working in the area of music / music education or related areas? As preliminary notes, it is noteworthy that such research contributes to guide the development of studies tha involving work of lifting and/or cataloguing of publications in the area of music. In addition, this perspective will assist the various professionals who work in the area in support for knowledge of theoretical framework with related themes and, also, allows these agents to find research and activities that contextualize their practices or support the difficulties experienced in their daily work.
