This work relates to a proposed insertion of the History of Physics in Physics Education, so you can provide the student motivation to discipline. The teaching of physics has gone through several phases in the history of education in Brazil, since then, started to have more sensitivity on the part of researchers, teachers and today is the notorious variety of learning strategies. So with these changes since the proposal of National Curriculum Parameters civic education is a critical student can also understand the scientific culture and show that major scientists suffered many conflicts because of their ideas. Hence the History of Physics in Physics Education, provides the student motivation to discipline. Besides working discipline contextualized and interdisciplinary points that are related to the National High School Exam form. The survey was conducted in a class of 1st year of high school in the Elementary School and Middle Hilza D. Diogo de Oliveira, in which a video was used as an educational resource on the lives of four scientists who marked the history of physics, Galileo Galilei, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, where through the results we may conclude that few students knew the life story that prompted these scientists to better understand the world view through the history of physics, thus passing, in order to achieve satisfactory results obtained in the research.
