Resumo: | The data caused by a dam break are very significant, so they should be highly prevented and avoided since such structures present an inherent risk . The National Dams Safety Policy , which established Law 12.334 / 2010, has as one of its instruments the Dams Safety plan,which should contain for dams whose associated potencial damage is classified as high,a plan fordisaster action including all the actions that must be taken in emergency situations,as in cases of dam failure . In view to this,the need forns to an evaluation of possible dam breaks arose in order to determine the flood area. For the modeling of rupture in the state of Ceará, it is important to consider the existing dense network of reservoirs . In this way, the simulations were performed considering the possibility of occurrence the cascade effect, since the impacts of the occurrence of this type of rupture will be potentialized. The inundation maps generated by the software HEC-RAS from the topography extracted of a digital elevation model (DEM) with SRTM images (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) represent a preliminary study of rupture for the selected dams and provide an initial idea to a more precise modeling to be used in contingency plans and risk mitigation studies later on. The impacts in the region downstream of the three dams selected for the study were analyzed, considering different simulation scenarios, based mainly on the maximum water level reached by the rupture wave. Finally, comparisons were made between the simulated scenarios and the results obtained by other methodologies. |

Finally, comparisons were made between the simulated scenarios and the results obtained by other methodologies.Os dados causados pelo rompimento de uma barragem são bastante expressivos,logo,devem ser prevenidos e evitados ao máximo,tento em vista que tais estruturas apresentam um risco inerente.A Lei nº 12.334/2010 que estabeleceu a Política Nacional de segurança de barragens, tem como um de seus instrumentos o plano de segurança de barragens,que deve conter para as barragens cujo dano potencial associado seja classificado como alto,um plano de ação de emergência (PAE),abrangendo todas as ações a serem tomadas em situação de emergência ,como nos casos de ruptura .Diante disso surgiu a necessidade de avaliação do possível rompimento das barragens ,de forma de determinar a área de inundação.Para a modelagem de ruptura no estado do Ceará,é importante considerar a densa rede de reservatórios existente,dessa forma,as simulações foram realizadas considerando a possibilidade de ocorrência de rompimentos em cascata,visto que os impactos com a ocorrência desse tipo de ruptura serão potencializados .Os mapas de inundação gerados pelo software HEC-RAS a partir da topografia extraída de um modelo digital de elevação (MDE) com imagens SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) representam um estudo preliminar de ruptura para as barragens selecionadas e fornecem uma ideia inicial,para uma modelagem posterior ,mais precisa, a ser usada nos planos de contingência e estudos de mitigação de riscos .Os impactos na região á jusante das três barragens selecionadas para o estudo foram analisados,considerando diferentes cenários de simulação,com base ,principalmente no nível d´água máximo atingido pela onda de ruptura .Por fim realizou -se comparações entre os cenários simulados e com os resultados obtidos por outras metodologias.Lima Neto, Iran EduardoToné, Arthur Jordan de AzevedoOliveira, Luísa Ciríaco Silva de2019-04-03T16:29:26Z2019-04-03T16:29:26Z2018info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisapplication/pdfOLIVEIRA, Luísa Ciríaco Silva de.
