Resumo: This article aimed to identify, in the context of the aviation structure, the initial routes of entry of COVID-19 into Brazil in each Brazilian state. From the survey of epidemiological data about the first cases of COVID-19 recorded in each Brazilian state, airport and air transport information, the initial routes for insertion and dissemination of COVID-19 were identified and spatialized. The results showed that the main initial routes of transmission and dissemination of this disease in Brazil are of international origin, mainly from the European continent and national origin, especially from the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The way in which COVID-19 was introduced in Brazil and its initial dissemination was directly related to the direction of the flows of convergent people and goods to the main management centers in the country, mainly through air transport.

A partir de la encuesta de datos epidemiológicos sobre los primeros casos de COVID-19 registrados en cada estado brasileño, aeropuerto e información de transporte aéreo, se identificaron y espacializaron las rutas iniciales para la inserción y difusión de COVID-19. Los resultados mostraron que las principales rutas iniciales de transmisión y diseminación de esta enfermedad en Brasil son de origen internacional, principalmente del continente europeo y de origen nacional, especialmente de los estados de São Paulo y Río de Janeiro. La forma en que COVID-19 se introdujo en Brasil y su difusión inicial estuvo directamente relacionada con la dirección de los flujos de personas y bienes convergentes a los principales centros de gestión del país, principalmente a través del transporte aéreo.O presente artigo objetivou identificar, no contexto da estrutura aeroviária, as rotas iniciais de entrada da COVID-19 no Brasil em cada estado brasileiro. A partir do levantamento de dados epidemiológicos acerca dos primeiros casos de COVID-19 registrados em cada estado brasileiro, informações aeroportuárias e de transporte aéreo, as rotas iniciais de inserção e disseminação da COVID-19 foram identificadas e espacializadas. Os resultados evidenciaram que as principais rotas iniciais de transmissão e disseminação dessa doença no Brasil são de origem internacional, principalmente oriundas do continente Europeu e de origem nacional, sobretudo dos estados de São Paulo e do Rio de Janeiro.
