Resumo: We discuss the gravitomagnetism in the context of Brans-Dicke theory of gravity. We obtain the equation of motion of a particle in terms of gravitoelectric and gravitomagnetic fields. Comparing the result obtained with that predicted by general relativity we show that the difference between the two theories lies in the gravitomagnetic force. Discutimos o gravitomagnetismo no contexto da teoria da gravidade de Brans-Dicke. Obtemos a equação do movimento de uma partícula em termos de campos gravitoelétricos e gravitomagnéticos. Comparando o resultado obtido com o previsto pela relatividade geral mostramos que a diferença entre as duas teorias reside na força gravitomagnética.
