Resumo: | The Brazil Without Poverty Plan (PBSM) was founded in 2011, it was derivative from others previous government proposals and it was designed with a bold goal of eradicating extreme poverty by the end of 2014, for this, strategies and partnerships were created. The productive and social inclusion of the low-income rural families was one of the targets set for achieving the objective of the Plan, thus the semi-arid northeast has received assistance from various programs. In 2012 Embrapa became partner of the Plan with the approval of a project that proposed the inclusion of Social Technologies in the TerritÃrio Alto Oeste Potiguar / RN, where are allocated 880 low-income rural families registered in the program to be benefited. Among the various proposals Social Technologies, the Productive Yard was selected for study object of this work and ten productive backyards located in the rural municipality of Doutor Severiano / RN were chosen among the various localities of the territory. This research aims to evaluate the efficiency of Backyards Productive, also investigate inclusion of impacts in the areas of food security, water availability, improved income, users satisfaction and socioeconomic inclusion of families in local supply chains. For this, members of the families questionnaires were applied to obtain such benefit primary data. It was also observed the inclusion of technology since installation until operation in rainy and dry seasons. This work was also addressed participatory management, which deals with the autonomy of technology by beneficiaries and performance in economic, social and environmental spheres. It was observed an increase in income, water supply, food security and productive inclusion couple all beneficiaries in a different levels for each family. The appropriation of technology by the beneficiaries stood out with the peasantry profile identified during the research. From the comparative evaluation of during the dry season technology efficiency and the rainy season, it can be concluded that the Productive Yard created a potential for production in the property, which has a better utilization in the rainy season and it can be like coexistence strategy with drought in the dry season. |
