Resumo: | The main points of this thesis are the stories told by women who are living with the HIV/AIDS, where it is emphasizing their perceptions of that condition, their body, their sexuality and love. Analysis of these womenâs trajectories indicates the academic importance of evaluation of a problem and its scientific treatment under a theoretical and multidisciplinary reference directly related to discussions involving gender. Starting with a sociological experience involving three women within different age groups, but emerging from the same social stratum, whose main traits are low income and education; it is revealed that their behavior in relation to aids, body, sexuality and love is closely related to their daily life and amorous relationships. The stories were captured by means of open interviews obtained during a two-year empirical research. |
