Several researchers and professionals responsible for the structural dimensioning of lattice slabs are unaware of the studies carried out in this area and are therefore not incorporated by the country's engineering offices. In this way, the main goal of this work is to present the dimensioning and construction techniques of prefabricated lattice slabs type and to perform a practical example of application. For that, a survey of information was carried out, about the subject in question, then, there are examples of scaffold slab design, following the methodology of dimensioning of independent beams. The project analyzed is a single-family residential building of 158.69 m² built area, composed of two floors. The steps related to structural analysis and slab design were followed. The slabs L3, L4, and L7 required 14cm of height, due to superior lengths. The slabs L1, L2, L5, and L6, required height of 12 cm, with a 4 cm concrete cover and EPS filling material 8 cm high. It was also verified that only the stands provided by the manufacturer are not indicated for the accomplishment of the dimensioning of these structural elements. Regarding the constructive process of the lattice slabs, it is important that the criteria adopted in the dimensioning are followed in the execution phase.
