Energia eólica e solar: estudo comparativo

Resumo: | Wind energy, as well as solar, are clean, renewable and efficient sources. Relatively new, they have been gaining ground in the domestic and international markets since the world oil crisis, since then many countries have invested heavily in this type of energy in order to complement their energy sources and move their economies. In Brazil, only after the creation of the Incentive Program for the Sources of Alternative Energy (PROINFA), in 2004, that the wind power source was strengthened and appears among the four countries with the highest percentage growth in this energy segment today . In relation to solar energy, there is still no mass production, however, the generation does not stop growing every year. The growth of both has been especially prominent in the northeast, all of this potential is due to its location and has a large coastal strip, which provides good quality of the winds, besides being the region of Brazil to have higher solar incidence. In this work, a comparative study between these energy sources will be approached, approaching the world panorama presenting current data. In addition, two residential projects will be developed for a middle-class residence, design of wind turbines and solar panels, in the city of Pau dos Ferros-RN, and finally, to analyze which will be the most feasible for implementation. From the obtained results, it was verified that the solar energy, for the region of the high western part of the state is more viable and the return of the investment is sooner. |

Estão ganhando espaço no mercado nacional e internacional a partir da crise mundial do petróleo, desde então, muitos países investem pesado nesse tipo energia afim de complementar suas fontes energéticas e movimentar suas economias. No Brasil, apenas a partir da criação do Programa de Incentivo às Fontes de Alternativas de Energia Elétrica (PROINFA), em 2004, que a fonte eólica tomou força e aparece entre os quatro países que mais crescem seus percentuais nesse segmento energético nos dias de hoje. Já em relação a energia solar, ainda não há uma produção em massa, no entanto a geração não para de crescer a cada ano. O crescimento de ambas, vem se destacando principalmente no Nordeste, todo esse potencial é devido a sua localização e possuir grande faixa litorânea, que lhe proporciona boa qualidade dos ventos, além de ser a região do Brasil a possuir maior incidência solar. Neste trabalho, será abordado um estudo comparativo entre essas fontes de energia abordando o panorama mundial apresentando dados atuais. Além disso, será elaborado dois projetos de dimensionamento de aerogeradores e placa solar para uma residência de classe média na cidade de Pau dos Ferros-RN, e por fim, analisar qual será o mais viável para implantação.
