Resumo: With the judicialization of politics, it is increasingly evident that the ministers of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) are independent political actors in the process of formulating public policies. So, with the expansion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), to which STF Ministers are not immune, it is possible that the political action of STF ministers is being extended to the virtual field. In this bias, this article aims to investigate the use of Twitter by STF Ministers as a form of political expression. Assuming that the political action of STF ministers on Twitter is a movement in progress, while Twitter works as an instrument that allows communication between the Judiciary and the people, contributing to the construction of decisions through a dialectical process between members of the Judiciary and society will be identified which of the ministers have an account, the way in which they describe themselves, the date of creation of the account, the number of followers and the number of publications (or tweets) carried out.

Com a judicialização da política, é cada vez mais evidente que os ministros do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) são atores políticos independentes no processo de formulação das políticas públicas. De forma que, com expansão Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC’s), aos quais os Ministros do STF não são imunes, é possível que a atuação política dos ministros do STF esteja sendo estendida ao campo virtual. Com este enfoque, o presente artigo tem como objetivo averiguar o uso do Twitter pelos Ministros do STF como forma de expressão política. Partindo da hipótese de que a atuação política dos ministros do STF no Twitter é um movimento em progressão, ao tempo que o Twitter funciona como instrumento que permite a comunicação entre o Judiciário e o povo, contribuindo para a construção de decisões através de um processo dialético entre os membros do Judiciário e a sociedade, serão identificados quais dos ministros dispõem de conta, a forma com a qual descrevem a si mesmos, a data de criação da conta, o número de seguidores e a quantidade de publicações (ou tweets) realizadas.
