Resumo: This qualitative-interpretative research aims to understand the fluctuations of the type of narrator, within the same narrative, constructed in a paraphrastic way. These fluctuations were identified in written statements produced by students of the 5th year of Elementary School – Early Years, from a public school in the municipality of Paranavaí-PR. The theoretical basis of the research is based on an enunciative-discursive vision of writing, built from the propositions of Corrêa (2004) and Authier-Revuz (2004) and reflections on literacy developed by Kleiman (2008), Soares (2009) and Tfouni (1994, 2013). The results indicate that the fluctuation in the type of narrator verified in the utterances examined in the research emerges from the child's dialogic relationship with other sayings and is determined by the identification of the writers with an idealized image of the female gender: the figure of the princess. In this sense, it could be concluded that the fluctuations of narrators constitute the child's place of movement between the positions of another and her own.
