Resumo: Violence pervades, in national and global levels, the daily lives of many families and manifests itself as a phenomenon of multiple determinations that may be present in public and private setting. Given the various types of violence present in the social space, there is violence perpetrated by man against his partner. The present study, of qualitative approach, aimed generally investigate how the Centre of Social Assistance Specialized Reference - Protection and Service Specializing to Families and Individuals (CREAS PAEFI "Adult") in the city of Colatina (ES/Brazil), composes the social and emotional network support to women/mothers who are victims of physical and/or psychological violence by their husbands/partners in the perception of professionals of this service and also in the perception of women themselves victims of violence from service users. To this end, 10 women/mothers participated the survey from CREAS PAEFI "Adult" of the city of Colatina, age ranging 34-45 years, who have suffered physical and/or psychological violence from their husbands/partners and who had at least one child. Also participated in the survey 6 professionals from the service, age ranging from 25 to 38. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews conducted individually on dependences of CREAS PAEFI "Adult". Content analysis was used in order to organize data, which were divided into themes and discussed based on Bioecological Theory of Human Development, from Urie Bronfenbrenner. As the main results it can be noted that the interactions established between professionals and women victims of violence, users of CREAS, have propitiated proximal processes that promoted positive changes in personal characteristics of women and strengthened the relationships they had with their families, especially with sons. Was also observed in the macrosystem that the social roles for men and women set by society were present in the speeches of the users of the service, which establishes women as responsible for their children, home and husband, and the man as the provider. Motherhood was seen by all users as an important factor in their lives and caused changes in family dynamics with a partner. It was noticed the commitment and involvement of professionals in caring for women who have shown interest and were engaged with the service with the goal of rebuilding their lives. The join of CREAS with network assistance to women victims of violence in the city of Colatina was considered satisfactory, especially for a small town which facilitates contact between services. Some women have exposed other sources of support that acted simultaneously with CREAS, like friends and religion (God). We conclude that the CREAS PAEFI was a integrant service within the social and emotional support network to women victims of violence who participated the study, acting as a significant macrosystem, which favored the development of women across the situation of violence experienced

We conclude that the CREAS PAEFI was a integrant service within the social and emotional support network to women victims of violence who participated the study, acting as a significant macrosystem, which favored the development of women across the situation of violence experiencedA violência está presente a nível nacional e mundial no cotidiano de muitas famílias e se configura como um fenômeno de múltiplas determinações, podendo estar presente no cenário público e privado.
