História, memória e educação das sensibilidades : o processo de patrimonialização da Casa Lambert de Santa Teresa- ES

Resumo: This master's dissertation analyzes the Lambert House patrimonialization process in the relation to history, memory and the educational experiences socially constructed by the individuals. The dialogue with the theoretical and methodological contributions of the philosopher Walter Benjamin and the historian Peter Gay allows unveiling the world views, images and interwoven values in the House considering an education of sensibilities constantly taking place in modernity which focuses on the cultural heritage. And from the theoretical elaborations of the historian Edward Palmer Thompson culture is understood in its plural aspects, marked by tensions, conflicts and negotiations and constantly (re) signified by the individuals through their experiences. With a qualitative study approach this documentary research and literature focuses on three key moments: the house construction in 1875-1876, the tumbling in 1985 and the restoration and transformation into an Italian Immigration Memory space in Santa Teresa in Espirito Santo State in 2010-2011. As part of Cultural History the reflections on the Lambert House represent the possibility of new perspectives and new views of the city and its history

O diálogo com as contribuições teóricometodológicas do filósofo Walter Benjamin e do historiador Peter Gay permite desvelar as visões de mundo, imagens e valores imbricados na Casa, considerando uma educação das sensibilidades constantemente em curso na modernidade que incide sobre o patrimônio cultural. E a partir das elaborações teóricas do historiador Edward Palmer Thompson, a cultura é compreendida em seus aspectos plurais, marcada por tensões, conflitos e negociações, e constantemente (re) significada pelos sujeitos por meio de suas experiências. Com um enfoque de cunho qualitativo, esta pesquisa documental e bibliográfica, focaliza três momentos fundamentais: a construção da casa em 1875-1876, o tombamento em 1985 e a restauração e transformação em um espaço de memória da imigração italiana em Santa Teresa e no Espírito Santo em 2010-2011.
