Resumo: | The parameters used in assisting in health programs do not fully adapt to the reality of mental health programs, so it is important to conduct research that attempts to assess the satisfaction and perceived user program area change. Given the above, the objective of this study was to evaluate the quality of the actions developed by a reference attention alcoholics through their program users. This study integrated the research entitled "Network mental health: evaluating the capixaba reality" that was approved by the Ethics Committee in Research of the Science Center, Federal University of Espírito Santo , under No. 338 114. It is an evaluative, descriptive study with a quantitative approach and cross-sectional. The sample was characterized for 40 users, and used the scales SATIS-BR and EMP-patient, and semi-structured questionnaires adapted by researchers. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS 20). We used univariate analysis to describe the quantitative variables related to quality of service and bivariate analysis to verify the quality of service and the independent variables, by chi-square test with a significance level of 5%. The sample was predominantly male (81%) and aged between 46 and 55 years (42.5%) predominated among clinical characteristics: treatment time in more than four years service (45.2%), abstinence time between 0 and 4 weeks (35.7%), and preferably distilled as a beverage (88.1%). Regarding the perception of changes, in general, 83.3% of alcoholic patients reported being better than before treatment in most items of the Scale of Perceived Change (EMP-patient), with only worsens the perception of sexuality items (26.8%) and sleep (16.7%). Regarding satisfaction thereof, the average user satisfaction for subscales and overall scale was representative because when asking about satisfaction with the discussion about your treatment 100% answered satisfied, and 97.4% said he was satisfied with the help of professionals. The present study showed that the EMP is a sensitive scale for assessing treatment outcomes measure because it indicates the positive and negative aspects of the treatment on the patient's life. And both scales are adapted to the Brazilian context and have semantic equivalence with the original scale. They were used to assess treatment outcomes, as perceived by its users, providing subsidies for professionals are suited to a new service process that provides improvements in physical aspects of the PAA and reflect on the positive aspects of the evaluation. However, lack studies in this area with this methodology made it difficult to discuss the results, that vision, replication of this methodology in other program and services that meet this demand in Brazil will allow the comparison of performance between them providing a spread of the practice of evaluation. |
