Desmistificando a Sexualidade: Vozes dos Estudantes em Debate na Sequência de Ensino por Investigação

Resumo: | Working on the topic of Sexual Education in schools is challenging and involves several socio-psychological aspects. In this context, an Investigative Teaching Sequence (SEI) was carried out in a state public school with a class from the 8th year of Elementary School, with the aim of approaching the theme of sexuality from a biological, social, political and ethical perspective, the in order to deconstruct myths, prejudices and taboos that surround the issue, providing students with a healthy and safe life perspective, encouraging them to become agents of change, creating an inclusive environment at school and in society. During the execution of the Research Teaching Sequence, students were instructed to proceed in accordance with the principles of scientific research, investigating their own hypotheses and validating them. The data collection procedures for this research involved classroom observations, debate, field diaries, audio recording and interviews. The investigative sequence was divided into four stages: 1. Collection of initial information and definition of the problems to be investigated, this stage beginning with reading and discussing a report on sexuality in schools and preparing anonymous questions that were categorized and organized by the researcher in investigative scripts. 2. Division of groups to work on the investigative scripts, being encouraged to question, raise questions and find solutions to the problems presented in the scripts. 3. Investigation through interviews with health professionals and searching for sources on the Internet. 4. Sharing experiences, challenges and learning, and completing individual questionnaires to evaluate the learning process and the actions taken. Results indicated that the investigative sequence had a positive impact, promoting student engagement, healthy relationships, inclusion, critical analysis, and a broader understanding of sexuality. The students considered that openly discussing sexuality does not influence aspects, on the contrary, the ability to lead a safe and responsible teenage and adult life, being essential to reduce risks, taboos and discrimination associated with sexuality. It is hoped that the results of this investigation will inspire teachers and institutions to adopt similar approaches, contributing to inclusive Sexual Education that is sensitive to the needs of adolescents. |

Neste contexto, foi realizada uma Sequência de Ensino por Investigação em uma escola pública estadual com uma turma do 8° ano do Ensino Fundamental, com o intuito de abordar a temática da sexualidade sob a perspectiva biológica, social, política e ética, a fim de desconstruir mitos, preconceitos e tabus que cercam a questão, proporcionando aos alunos uma perspectiva de vida saudável e segura, estimulando a se tornarem agentes de mudança, criando um ambiente inclusivo na escola e na sociedade. Durante a execução da Sequência de Ensino por Investigação os estudantes foram orientados a proceder em conformidade com os princípios da investigação cientifica, averiguando as próprias hipóteses e validando-as. Os procedimentos de coleta de dados dessa pesquisa envolveram as observações em sala de aula, debate, diários de campo, gravações de áudio e entrevistas. A sequência investigativa foi dividida em quatro etapas: 1. Coleta de informações iniciais e definição das problemáticas a serem investigadas sendo esta etapa iniciada com a leitura e discussão de uma reportagem sobre sexualidade nas escolas e elaboração de perguntas anônimas que foram categorizadas e organizadas pela pesquisadora em roteiros investigativos. 2. Divisão de grupos para trabalhar os roteiros investigativos, sendo encorajados a questionar, levantar hipóteses e encontrar soluções para os problemas apresentados nos roteiros. 3. Investigação por meio de entrevistas com profissionais da saúde e busca de fontes pela Internet. 4. Compartilhamento das experiências, desafios e aprendizados, e preenchimento de questionários individuais para avaliar o processo de aprendizagem e das ações realizadas. Os resultados indicaram que as atividades propostas tiveram impacto positivo, promovendo o comprometimento dos alunos, relacionamentos saudáveis, inclusão, análise crítica e uma compreensão mais ampla da sexualidade. Os estudantes reconheceram que discutir abertamente a sexualidade não os influencia negativamente, pelo contrário, os capacita para uma vida na adolescência e adulta segura e responsável, sendo essencial para reduzir riscos, tabus e discriminações associadas à sexualidade.
