Resumo: The present study aimed to evaluate the environmental aspects of green products from the web of Ecodesign strategies proposed by Brezet et Hemel (1997) and Environmental Labeling regulated by ISO 14020. This is an exploratory and descriptive research, of the case study type. The case chosen was the Greenvana Company, specialized in the virtual retail of green products. Of the 715 products analyzed, the most used type of labeling was self-declaration, with the most used being: degradable (53%), recyclable (40%) and elongated product life (28%). The use of green stamps occurred in only 20% of the products and the most used were FSC and IBD. As for the ecodesign strategies, the most used was the selection of low impact materials, specifically, selection of non-aggressive materials and recyclable materials.
