Resumo: Most vulnerability identified in a watershed is due to anthropogenic interference in rural and urban areas. Sensitivity and common sense in joint action by the different agents of society can minimize the negative impacts on a basin through planned action. This study aimed to determine the environmental vulnerabilities of the highest region of the Taquaritinga watershed, SP, Brazil. The study methodology was the observation of satellite images using the free Google Earth Pro software by photocomparison of images in a sample area of 3,581 ha, divided into four quadrants. The results showed that the positive points of the area are the presence of straw on the ground and contour lines as conservation measures. However, it deserves special attention from the authorities to dispose properly of solid urban waste and the development of projects to re-establish native flora associated with the construction of more containment basins along the access roads to rural producers, which could contribute, in the long term, to improving the flow of water resources in the basin. Keywords: Watershed; Environmental impact; Environmental vulnerability La identificación de vulnerabilidades en una cuenca, en la mayoría de los casos, es el resultado de la interferencia antrópica en áreas rurales y urbanas. La sensibilidad y el sentido común en la actuación conjunta de los diferentes agentes de la sociedad pueden minimizar los impactos negativos sobre una cuenca por una actuación planificada. El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar las vulnerabilidades ambientales de la región más alta de la cuenca del río Taquaritinga, SP, Brasil. La metodología de estudio fue la observación de imágenes satelitales utilizando el software libre Google Earth Pro, mediante fotocomparación de imágenes en un área muestral de 3581 ha, dividida en cuatro cuadrantes. Los resultados mostraron que el área tiene como puntos positivos la presencia de paja en el suelo y las curvas de nivel como medidas de conservación. Sin embargo, merece especial atención por parte de las autoridades la adecuada disposición de los residuos sólidos urbanos, así como el desarrollo de proyectos de restauración de la flora nativa asociados a la construcción de más tinas de contención, a lo largo de las vías de acceso a los productores rurales, que puedan contribuir en la largo plazo para mejorar el flujo de los recursos hídricos en la cuenca.       A identificação das vulnerabilidades em uma bacia hidrográfica, na maioria, é resultado de interferências antrópicas no espaço rural e urbano. A sensibilidade e o bom senso em ação conjunta dos diferentes agentes da sociedade podem minimizar os impactos negativos numa bacia por uma ação planejada. O objetivo deste estudo foi determinar as vulnerabilidades ambientais da região mais alta da bacia hidrográfica de Taquaritinga, SP, Brasil. A metodologia do estudo foi a observação de imagens de satélite com uso do software livre Google Earth Pro, por fotocomparação de imagens numa área amostral de 3581 ha, divididas em quatro quadrantes. Os resultados mostraram que a área apresenta como pontos positivos a presença de palha sobre o solo e curvas de nível como medidas de conservação. Contudo, merece uma atenção especial das autoridades para dispor adequadamente os resíduos sólidos urbanos, assim como o desenvolvimento de projetos de restabelecimento de flora nativa associadas à construção de mais bacias de contenção ao longo das vias de acesso aos produtores rurais, o que pode contribuir, a longo prazo, para melhorar a vazão dos recursos hídricos da bacia.
