Resumo: An indicators’ panel is an IT solution to organize performance measures chosen by a company to manage an operation, function or process. The utilization of these panels helps in business maintenance and strategy, by providing the actual scenario of the analyzed area, and contributes significantly to decision making. Therefore, choosing the proper tools to build these panels is fundamentally important to obtain quality performance and easy user interface. This article presents the application of a multicriteria methodology to select the ideal tool to support the building of an indicators’ panel for an insurance company.

A utilização de painéis ajuda na manutenção e na estratégia do negócio e, mostra a situação de cada área observada, facilitando assim as tomadas de decisão da direção da empresa. Nesse sentido, a escolha de ferramentas adequadas para construção de painéis é de fundamental importância para o bom desempenho dos mesmos e sua interação com o usuário.
