Resumo: | ABSTRACT: The aim of this paper is to improve the comprehension of the moral implications of Nudge. Firstly we will discuss the potential moral concerns elicited by this policy alternative. In the following, we will propose an alternative definition of Nudge and a broader categorization of the types of agencies that it deals with. Both these proposals are intended to clarify what a Nudge is in order to make it easier to appreciate its moral boundaries. In the light of this refinement of the nature of Nudge we will be able to provide a more meticulous examination of its ethic alimplications.KEYWORDS: moral boundaries, nudge, paternalism |
