Resumo: In this article, after a brief conceptual journey on the contemporary process of educational entrepreneurship, we will deal with the performance of the International Finance Corporation - IFC, World Bank Group's corporate financing branch, in promoting the creation of markets for "learning opportunities", in line with the policy guidelines set out in its 2020 Strategy: “Learning for all". We will examine the case characterized as “successful” of the Coursera Platform as a paradigmatic example and model representation of the concept of education stimulated by this organization.

Examinaremos el caso considerado “exitoso” de la Plataforma Coursera, ejemplo paradigmático y representación modelar  de la concepción de educación de este organismoNeste artigo, após um breve percurso conceitual sobre o processo contemporâneo de empresariamento da educação, trataremos da atuação da Corporação Financeira Internacional – IFC, braço de financiamento empresarial do Grupo Banco Mundial, na promoção da criação de mercados de “oportunidades de aprendizagem”, conforme as orientações de políticas definidas na sua Estratégia 2020: “Aprendizagem para Todos”.
