Resumo: This article analyses the conception of the systematic knowledge of fishermen from the Colon Z-16, from Cametá city (PA), articulated with the acceding challenges and school permanence, detaching interferences of the denial of this knowledge in the life of the researched subjects. It is a case study research, supported in the historical-dialectical materialism. Semi-structured interviews were used; the data analysis followed the orientation of the contents analysis. The systematic knowledge with quality is denied for the working class; the basic education public policies do not attend everyone.

Es una investigación del modo de estudio de caso, apoyada en el materialismo histórico-dialectico. Utilizamos entrevistas semi-estructuradas; el análisis de los datos siguió orientaciones del estudio de contenido. El saber sistematizado con calidad es negado a la clase trabajadora; las políticas públicas de la educación básica no llegan a todos.O artigo analisa a concepção do saber sistematizado dos pescadores da Colônia Z-16, no município de Cametá (PA), articulado com os desafios de acesso e permanência na escola, destacando as interferências da negação desse saber na vida dos sujeitos pesquisados. É uma pesquisa do tipo estudo de caso, apoiada no materialismo histórico-dialético. Utilizamos entrevistas semiestruturadas; a análise dos dados seguiu orientações da análise de conteúdo. O saber sistematizado com qualidade é negado à classe trabalhadora e as políticas públicas da educação básica não atendem a todos.
