Resumo: The Fires impact terrestrial ecosystems in different ways and not all are adapted to the same fire regime, even within the same biome, as in the case of the Brazilian Cerrado. The objective of the research is to evaluate the resilience of different Cerrado formations in the context of fire events through the multitemporal analysis of the NDVI vegetation index - Normalized Difference Vegetation Index - in Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park - GO. Data on scars from burned areas from INPE, spatial distribution of vegetation from MapBiomas and MODIS images were used to calculate the accumulated sum of scars from burned areas and NDVI accumulated by formation (grassland, savanna and forest). The results corroborate the scientific evidence of the behavior of Cerrado vegetation, demonstrating the different resilience of plant formations to the same persistent fire episodes.

El objetivo de esta investigación es evaluar la resiliencia de diferentes formaciones del Cerrado en el contexto de eventos de fuego mediante un análisis multitemporal del NDVI - Índice de Vegetación de Diferencia Normalizada - en el Parque Nacional de Chapada dos Veadeiros - GO. Se utilizaron datos sobre cicatrices de áreas quemadas del INPE, distribución espacial de la vegetación de MapBiomas e imágenes MODIS para calcular la suma acumulada de cicatrices de áreas quemadas y el NDVI acumulado por formación (pastizal, sabana y bosque). Los resultados corroboran las evidencias científicas sobre el comportamiento de la vegetación del Cerrado, demostrando la diferente resiliencia de las formaciones vegetales a los mismos episodios de incendios persistentes.As queimadas impactam de diferentes formas os ecossistemas terrestres e nem todos estão adaptados ao mesmo regime de fogo, inclusive dentro de um mesmo bioma, como no caso do Cerrado brasileiro. O objetivo da pesquisa é avaliar a resiliência de diferentes formações do Cerrado no contexto de eventos de fogo por meio da análise multitemporal do índice de vegetação NDVI – Normalized Difference Vegetation Index – no Parque Nacional da Chapada dos Veadeiros – GO. Foram utilizados dados de cicatrizes de áreas queimadas do INPE, distribuição espacial da vegetação do MapBiomas e imagens MODIS para cálculo do somatório acumulado das cicatrizes de área queimada e NDVI acumulado por formação (campestre, savânica e florestal).
