Resumo: | This article aims to discuss the possible relations between literary writing techniques and scientific writing, considering the possible gains that a more “literary” style may bring to scientific works. In order to do so, at first a discussion was made on the relation between form and content and about how the different ways one sees this relation affects this someone writing style. Later, the different techniques and approaches that writers use to make their texts more accurate to what they want to say were discussed, exploring elements such as style and effect, narration and brevity. It aims to demonstrate along the way, the necessity of a bigger focus by the scientists in the process of scientific writing. |

Para ello, en un primer momento, se llevó a cabo una discusión sobre la relación entre forma y contenido y sobre cómo las diferentes formas de ver esta relación dan como resultado diferentes formas de escribir. En un segundo momento, se discutieron diferentes técnicas y enfoques que utilizan los escritores para adecuar sus textos a lo que quieren decir, explorando elementos como el estilo y los efectos, la narración y la brevedad. Buscando demostrar, en el camino, la necesidad de un mayor enfoque en el proceso de escritura científica por parte de los científicos.Este artigo tem por objetivo discutir as possíveis relações entre técnicas de escrita literária e a escrita científica, considerando os possíveis benefícios que um estilo mais “literário” poderia ter nos trabalhos científicos. Para isso, em um primeiro momento, realizou-se uma discussão sobre a relação entre forma e conteúdo e sobre como os diferentes modos de ver esta relação resultam em diferentes maneiras de escrever. Em um segundo momento, foram discutidas diferentes técnicas e abordagens utilizadas por escritores para tornar seus textos mais adequados àquilo que querem dizer, explorando elementos como o estilo e os efeitos, a narração e a brevidade.
