MOBILITY IN MEXICO CITY: accidents and valuation of services

Mobility in Mexico City is part of the production of space, not only in the configuration of a vehicular grid, arrangement of material supports for the different modes of travel, connectivity, and accessibility, but also due to the moment of distribution of merchandise, services and people. Travel, material supports and transport cause accidents that are reported by Open Data C5, from January 2018 to December 2022, by the local government: crash, run over, skidded, cyclist fall, rollover and fall passenger in the main avenues of the Cuauhtémoc delegation: Avenida Insurgentes and Avenida Reforma. The most affected age range, 25 to 34 years, mainly men. The effect, services enrich, health, protection and insurance. Road accidents are a commodity, a system that solves multi-causal problems is not prevented or planned.
