This article brings to the discussion the theme of Youth and Adult Education and its intersections in the fields of ethnic-racial and class relations, also associating it with the teaching of Geography. The objective here is to present a survey of academic research carried out on the central themes “Education of Working Young and Adults, Racial Issues and Teaching of Geography”, using the search for the State of the Art as a method. In this way, an extensive survey and analysis of research on the subject were carried out in the period between 2006-2016 in the main associations and specialized magazines. From the results, it became clear that research in the geographic field still neglects themes related to subjects made invisible over time, but that have always been present in the school space.
