Influência da espessura da película de cimento na resistência de união e na fratura de dentes bovinos restaurados com retentores intrarradiculares de fibra de vidro

Resumo: This study aimed at evaluating the influence of the cement film thickness on the bond strength (BS) and fracture resistance (FR) of teeth restored with fiber reinforced composite post (FRC). Thirty five bovine incisors were used for the analysis of the BS (n = 7), 50 to RF (n = 10) and distributed into 5 experimental groups according to the FRC: A - White Post DC (WPDC) 0.5, B - WPDC1, C WPDC 2, D WPDC 3, E WPDC 4. After cleaning and disinfection, the teeth were decoronated and the roots length standardized at 12mm. The canals were prepared up to 11mm and irrigated with 2.5%NaOCl. The roots were embedded, dentin was hybridized and FRC were luted with resin cement (Rely-X ARC) after surface conditioning with 24% H2O2 for 5min and silanization. BS was evaluated by push-out test and FR by compression test at 45°. Tests were performed in a mechanical universal testing machine (EMIC-DL2000) at a cross-head speed of 1mm/min. BS data were subjected to two-way ANOVA (5%) and Scheffé test (5%) for contrast. BS results (MPa) were: E (6,2±2,3) > A (4,3±1,2) = B (3,2±1,6) =C (3,0±1,3) = D (3,1±1,0) and for the root thirds: Cervical (3,7±1,4) = Médio (4,4±1,6) = Apical(3,7±1,3). FR data (N) were subjected to one-way ANOVA and statistical significant difference was not detected (p>0.05). FR results were: A (277.30 ± 39.77) = B (334.70 ± 89,65) = C (307.20 ± 37.19) = D (301.20 ± 94.86) = E (348.80 ± 65.49). Within the limitations of this study, it could be concluded that: 1) a FRC well adapted to root canal results in higher BS values; 2) different film thicknesses of resin cement did not influence the FR of teeth restored with FRC posts.

Foram utilizados 35 incisivos bovinos para a análise da RU (n=7) e 50 para a FF (n=10), assim distribuídos nos 5 grupos experimentais, de acordo com o PFV usado: A White Post DC (WPDC) 0,5; B WPDC 1, C WPDC 2; D WPDC 3, E WPDC 4. Após limpeza e desinfecção, os dentes tiveram suas coroas removidas e as raízes padronizadas no comprimento de 12mm. Os condutos foram preparados até 11mm e irrigados com NaOCl 2,5%. As raízes foram embutidas, a dentina radicular hibridizada e os PFV fixados com cimento resinoso (Rely-X ARC) após condicionamento da superfície com H2O2 a 24% por 5min e silanização. A RU foi avaliada por ensaio de push-out e o FF por ensaio de compressão a 45º. Os testes foram realizados em máquina universal de ensaios mecânicos (EMIC DL2000) a uma velocidade de 1mm/min. Os dados obtidos com o teste de RU foram submetidos à análise de variância de dois fatores (5%) e ao teste de Scheffé (5%) para contraste. Os resultados (MPa) foram: E (6,2±2,3) > A (4,3±1,2) = B (3,2±1,6) =C (3,0±1,3) = D (3,1±1,0) e, quanto aos terços radiculares: Cervical (3,7±1,4) = Médio(4,4±1,6) = Apical(3,7±1,3). Os valores de FF (N) foram submetidos à análise de variância de um fator e não houve diferença estatística significante (p>0,05), onde A (277,30±39,77) = B (334,70±89,65) = C (307,20±37,19) = D (301,20±94,86) = E (348,80±65,49).
