Resumo: In this work we work with an alternative theory of gravity which is patterned after the Born-Infeld theory. This theory is known as the NDL (Novello-DiLorenci-Luciane) theory and has as a fundamental property the fact that it considers that the gravity-gravity interaction does not occur in the same way as that of the matter-gravity interaction. We show here that the Birkhoff theorem is valid for this theory.
