Resumo: | The objective of this study is to understand how the different subject positions taken by the author of Grammatica da Língua Nacional, Antonio Alvares Pereira Coruja produce different meanings on the national language and his teaching, in the midst of the disputes and tensions in the process of production of knowledge and of language policies. Affiliated with Discourse Analysis (PÊCHEUX, 1975, 1982; ORLANDI, 1998, 2002; MARIANI, 2003, 2004), the study brings contributions to research in the history of ideas of language in Brazil, focused on the theme of the grammatization process of Brazil in the 19th century on the relation sustained Language-State-Brazilian nation. |
