Resumo: The central aim of this article is realize a discussion about the impacts of sexual violence against children and adolescents. Taking into consideration that the professionals who deal with this demand must be attentive to the different and potential implications due to that circumstance, this article aims at realizing a systematization of the main theoretical contributions relevant to this issue and contribute to divulge the knowledge which has already been elaborated about the possible consequences of a sexual abuse against a child or adolescent. The systematization of previous studies show that the consequences of sexual abuse are serious, extensive and diverse.
